Apples represent wisdom — the type that is hard-earned, sometimes bitter and sometimes sweet.
A sweet little crabapple, shown on a paper branch with leaves, blossoms and a bud about to bloom. This is a handmade item. The leaves and blossoms made with crepe paper, and the crabapple is a hand poured plaster cast and individually hand painted.
It is displayed on a wood frame painted a deep shade of blue-green, accentuating every botanical detail. The edges of the frame are painted with a lustrous gold wax, and it hangs simply on the wall with a keyhole on the back. Each piece comes signed with a gold wax seal on the reverse, embossed with the Golden Age logo.

This piece is archival, but is recommended to be displayed away from direct sunlight to keep the colours from fading.
In an effort to reduce waste, Golden Age tries to re-use packaging materials whenever possible, and to use materials that are recycled or compostable. All efforts are made to ensure that your piece arrives safely, however some flattening can occur during shipping. This is taken into consideration when designing your piece, so petals and leaves can be easily adjusted upon arrival.
All efforts are made while designing to ensure the longevity and durability of your piece. It should be displayed away from direct sunlight to prevent colours from fading, and away from any moisture or direct heat. It can be cleaned with a light duster, or compressed air held 12-18” away from your piece.
Price of shipping is included. All works are shipped via Canada Post, with tracking information provided. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Golden Age Botanicals is not responsible for delays due to customs.
