Alex graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Painting and Printmaking in 2012. She currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her boyfriend Chris and their two dogs, and she is a studio artist at MINT.

Characteristic of her work is an expressionist style and layered media ranging from charcoal and chalk to acrylic, watercolor and gouache.
